How to delete your Loot Lagoon account. Open the game and go to Options → Delete account & data. Confirm, and the account is deleted straight away. You do not need to email anyone and you do not need to wait for a reply.
Who this is about
Loot Lagoon is published by Guy Maslawi, an individual developer in Israel. If anything here does not work for you, write to guymuslave@gmail.com.
The steps
- Open Loot Lagoon on your phone.
- Tap Options.
- Tap Delete account & data.
- Confirm when the game asks. That is the whole process.
If you no longer have the game installed
Write to guymuslave@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with, or tell me the name your island used, and I will delete the account for you. Expect a reply within a few days.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes, immediately:
- Your island and everything in it — buildings, coins, spins, cards and collections.
- The name and face you chose. They stop appearing to other players, in raids, and on any leaderboard, at once.
- Your email address and the account identifier passed on by Apple or Google when you signed in.
- The identifier the game assigned you, and the sign-ins attached to it.
- The copy of your island stored on the phone you delete it from.
What is kept, and for how long
The island itself is held for thirty days after deletion and then erased permanently. That window exists for one reason: so that a deletion made by mistake can still be undone if you write to me inside it. During those thirty days the island appears nowhere in the game and is not shown to anyone. After thirty days it is gone and cannot be recovered by me or by you.
Nothing else is retained. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network and no data broker involved at any point, so there is no copy of your data anywhere else to delete.
Records of purchases you made are held by Apple or by Google, not by me. Deleting your Loot Lagoon account does not delete those, and they are governed by Apple's and Google's own policies. Deleting your account does not refund a purchase.
One thing worth knowing before you do it
Coins, spins and cards you paid for are deleted along with everything else, and cannot be restored after the thirty days are up. Deleting your account is not a way to start over with what you bought.
