The short version. Play fair, keep your name civil, and understand that coins and spins are part of a game rather than money. Apple handles every payment and every refund.
These terms and Apple’s
Loot Lagoon is licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in full. What is below adds to it. Where the two disagree, Apple’s wins.
Coins, spins and cards are not money
Everything you collect in the game — coins, spins, stars, cards, an island — is a feature of the game. It has no value outside the game, is not currency, cannot be exchanged for money or goods, and cannot be sold or transferred to anyone else. You are licensed to use it inside Loot Lagoon and nothing more.
Purchases and refunds
All payments are handled by the store you installed the game from — Apple on the App Store, Google on Google Play — and every purchase is delivered as described at the moment you confirm it. Coin and spin packs are consumable: once delivered they are spent in play and cannot be returned. Chests contain randomised cards, and their odds are printed on the chest and again in the confirmation dialog before you pay.
Cards belong to a collection season lasting 30 days. When a season ends, every card and spare is cleared — including cards that came out of a chest or a pack you paid for. The season countdown is shown on the Collections page and again in the confirmation dialog before you pay for anything containing cards.
I cannot issue refunds — only the store you bought from can. On the App Store, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Google Play, request one at your Google Play order history.
Tournaments and the leaderboard
The game runs a repeating tournament lasting three days. You earn points by playing — raiding, attacking and building — and points scale with the bet you played at. Reaching a milestone unlocks a reward you claim from the tournament board.
Claim a reward before the tournament ends. When a tournament ends, the score and every unclaimed reward are cleared and the next one starts from zero. Tournament rewards are in-game items only and are covered by the section above: they are not money and have no value outside the game.
The leaderboard shows the name and face you chose alongside your island number and star count. If you would rather not appear, play as a guest.
Your account and your island
Signing in is optional. If you do not sign in, your island exists only on that device and cannot be recovered if you lose it — including anything you paid for. If you do sign in, keep access to the Apple or Google account you used, because that is what proves the island is yours. Connecting a second sign-in in Options is what lets you move between an iPhone and an Android phone.
Names and conduct
The name you choose is shown to other players, so it must not be offensive, harassing, or impersonate somebody else, and it must not be aimed at a particular person. Names are checked automatically and can be reported by any player using the flag beside them.
A name that breaks this may be reset without notice, and an account used repeatedly to harass other players may be closed. Reporting a name also stops that player being matched with you, immediately and in both directions.
Do not modify the game, automate play, or interfere with other players’ islands other than through the raids the game itself offers.
Availability
Loot Lagoon is made by one person. I try to keep the servers up and the game working, but I cannot promise either without interruption, and features may change or be removed as the game develops. If the game is ever discontinued I will say so on this page in advance.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Options → Delete account & data, which removes your island from this device and from the server. I may close an account that is used to break these terms. Either way, purchases already made are not refunded by me — see above.
Liability
The game is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost progress, lost purchases, or any indirect loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, and if you are in the EEA or the UK those rights apply regardless of what this page says.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to where you live.
